Hunstanton Lighthouse

Hunstanton, also known as Sunny Hunny due to the town being west facing and therefore has superb sunsets over The Wash. There is lots to do in Hunstanton, the beautiful beaches of both Old Hunstanton and Hunstanton itself are used and enjoyed all year round, there is a fair, sealife centre, amusement arcades, small theatre/cinema, shops, plenty of fish and chips and cafes plus lots more. Hunstanton pier was built in 1870 but sadly in 1978 during the floods, the pier was destroyed and never rebuilt, more recently, what remained of the pier (which was being used as an amusement arcade and cafe) burned down but was rebuilt soon after.
